Is There Already Too Much Competition or Crowding?

This is a common question – Is there already an overcrowding of information in my niche?

In general, the answer is ‘no’.  Why not take a look in your own office where I’m sure you’ll agree with me. If you’re into any topic of non-fiction, say in the area of personal development, I reckon you’ll find that you have a number of books covering similar topics. And you’ll more than likely buy more in the future.

Think also about cooking and recipe books. Just because there are literally thousands upon thousands of these in the marketplace, do you think publishers wont print any more?

And if you’re into learning about a particular topic, and you’ve purchased some sort of course relating to the topic, I’m sure you wouldn’t hesitate to buy another covering a similar subject because that is what interests you.

“If we’re hungry for information on a certain topic

we don’t stop at only one piece of the pie”

Another important aspect to consider is that as long as somebody or some others are successfully selling information, there must be a need for it. And, your customers will resonate with your style and your personality, so will be more keen to purchase from you.

Lastly, remember that not everyone moves in the same circle. In other words, what another entrepreneur might be selling, there are people who will never even know of it’s existence.

Therefore, it is my opinion that competition can be a good thing. So, in answer to the question “Is there already too much competition or crowding in the info market business”, I don’t think so.
